Diesel Generator
We currently have two solar arrays that provide about 90% of our power needs.
This is a Kubota diesel generator we use to power the house when we lose power. The generator has a 60 gallon fuel tank under it. Please watch the video below.

Diesel generators have less maintenance and longer life expectancy than that of natural gas or gas generators. The fuel efficiency of diesel is also a great advantage over natural gas or gas powered generators. The biggest disadvantage comes from noise level and exhaust of diesel generators.
